Congratulations Gigi Owens on Your 2021 UA Award for Excellence Award!

Gigi Owen, Assistant Staff Scientist in the Arizona Institute for Resilience was very surprised when she signed on to a zoom meeting and found herself on with several new faces - our surprise patrol to let her know she was a winner of this years UA Award for Excellence. Our team read some of the wonderful things her colleagues and nominators had to say about her and Gigi was shocked when the big check appeared on her computer screen.
